First, an update on what I've been up to lately. I work in the Athletics department at Stevens Institute of Technology and frequently announce the webcasts of many of their home events in the winter season. You can find the links through www.stevensducks.com.
Next, I would like to say that I am exploring the possibility of bringing back the blog for the winter season but only for Boys' Hockey. A decision and post on pre-season capsules or rankings will be coming by Wednesday, the first day of comeptition.
Finally, congratulation to Holy Cross (Class S), Ansonia (Class M), Hand (Class L) and Xavier (Class LL) for winning state championships in football. Holy Cross ended Cromwell's cinderella playoff run in dominating fashion, Ansonia proved that they can win in Class M too, Hand prevented New Canaan from winning 5 of the last 6 in L and Xavier won their 26th game in a row and second straight title by beating the last team they lost to ('09 semifinals), Staples.
