-I told you so, I even told you who was going to score; For Simsbury, Trevor Gallagher and Matt Bulmer each had four goals.  For Newtown, four players each scored two goals.  Parker Burr made 18 saves for Simsbury.

-The score surprised me a little and although it is the playoffs, I am a little worried about Darien as they face Wilton in the next round, a team that almost upset in the FCIAC playoffs...the reason: junior attack Case Matheis's knee injury at the 10:33 mark of the first quarter; see below:
